Snowtubing Retreat

Students piled in to the bus early in the morning the last Saturday of February to embark on a snow tubing adventure that would be talked about for weeks to come. The 18 hour round trip was tiresome, fun, and ministry based. Students built relationships throughout the day while enjoying all the fun that snow tubing has to offer. With a Winter Blizzard arriving the night before us, there was plenty of snow for our day.

Students begin Fundraising for Mission Trips

Fundraising has already began for several of our students who desire to see ministry done throughout the Summer. With 5 students already committed to Alaska and 2 to Haiti their challenge to gather enough sponsorships will not be easy.

Leadership Weekend Retreat:

Ministry Teams utilized the weekend prior to school beginning this Spring to come together for a weekend of preparing to "Go!". This semesters theme is simply that "Go!". With a weekend filled full of ministry teams, leadership meetings, group activities, fun, and so many character building activities our leaders were able to come together as a group and develop a plan for students to "Go!".

World Vision Winter Blast Tour

BCM was privildged to host the World Vision Winterblast Tour on January 17, 2010. When students began rolling back in to campus they were greeted with a huge fundraiser getting ready to occur for World Vision. With nearly 400 in attendance it was a very successful evening. World Vision received 33 sponsorships for Children that evening and we were very excited to have had the opportunity to work with Building 429 again.

Alice Lloyd Student receives Acts 1:8 position for Summer 2010

This summer BCM's very own Whitney Smith will be traveling with KBC students on mission with a very selective KBC team, Acts 1:8. Along with many Kentucky missions along the stop Acts 1:8 will also be assisitng in Haiti with disaster relief.

TNT Praise Service

BCM hosts a campus wide worship service every Thursday evening and what better way to ring in the new year but with a Praise service that allowed students to surround themselves with worship and a time to share how God has been workign in their lifes over Christmas break. Many students shared testimony, words of wisdom, and ways that they are striving to improve. Students goals for this semester have been set and they are focused on "Go!"
